1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the American V-Twin Diagnostics application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

American V-Twin Diagnostics is a mobile and web reference and diagnostic tool designed to assist motorcycle owners and mechanics in diagnosing fuel injection, electrical, and mechanical issues on 2007–2017 Harley-Davidson motorcycles equipped with Delphi Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) systems. The App provides symptom-based guided diagnostic paths that identify probable causes, circuit references, component cards, torque specifications, DTC code lookups, service interval references, and the free Smart Service Scheduler maintenance reminders. A free registered account is required to use the App.

3. Subscription and Payment

The App offers a free 3-day trial with full access to all premium features. After the trial period ends, a paid subscription of $9.99 per month is required to continue accessing premium features. Subscriptions are managed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device. By subscribing, you agree to the payment terms of your respective app store.

Free features (registration required, no subscription needed):

• Smart Service Scheduler — Maintenance reminders matched to your bike and mileage, with optional email notifications
• DTC Code Lookup — 71 diagnostic trouble codes in plain English with probable causes
• Torque Specifications — 119 specs for Twin Cam and Evo Sportster engines plus per-platform chassis
• Service Intervals — Recommended maintenance schedules by mileage
• Bike-Specific Specs — Electrical and mechanical specifications for your exact year, model, and engine
• Garage Profile — One motorcycle profile with service records and notes

Subscription terms:

• Free Trial: New subscribers receive a 3-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, no charge will be applied.
• Billing: After the free trial, your subscription will be billed at $9.99 per month through your Apple ID or Google Play account.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to premium features until then.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.

4. Access and Use

The App provides diagnostic content, reference material, DTC codes, torque specifications, and circuit diagrams. A free registered account is required to use the App; your account is what associates your motorcycle profiles, diagnostic history, service records, and Smart Service Scheduler settings with you across devices.

5. Disclaimer of Professional Advice

The App is intended as a reference and educational tool only. The App identifies probable causes based on the symptoms and behaviors you report — it does not prescribe repairs, and it does not direct you to perform any specific repair procedure. Where a diagnosis is ambiguous, the App's guidance is to consult an authorized dealer or qualified motorcycle technician. The diagnostic information and specifications provided are for general guidance and do not constitute professional mechanical advice. Always consult a qualified motorcycle technician for critical repairs and safety-related work.

Classified AI LLC and American V-Twin Diagnostics are not responsible for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from the use of information provided by the App. Any inspection, maintenance, or repair work you choose to perform on your motorcycle is undertaken at your own discretion and sole risk. Service interval and reminder features are conveniences based on the mileage and interval information you enter; you remain responsible for maintaining your motorcycle according to its factory service manual.

6. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date diagnostic information, torque specifications, and service data, we cannot guarantee that all information is free from errors. Specifications may vary by model year, sub-model, and aftermarket modifications. Always verify critical specifications against your motorcycle's factory service manual.

7. User Accounts and Data Retention

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account information current. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may delete your account at any time from within the App. When an account is closed (or a motorcycle is retired from a garage), we retain a minimal record — account identifiers, the diagnostic results generated for the motorcycle, and associated service records and notes — for three (3) years for safety, liability, and recordkeeping purposes, after which it is permanently deleted. Diagnostic and service history entries are maintained as written and are not altered after creation. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App's content.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or other users' accounts.
• Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account.

9. Intellectual Property

All content within the App — including but not limited to diagnostic trees, circuit diagrams, text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of Classified AI LLC and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. "Harley-Davidson," model names, and related trademarks are the property of Harley-Davidson Motor Company and are used for reference purposes only.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Classified AI LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed $50.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction.
