This page explains how to request deletion of your V-Twin Diagnostics account (a product of Classified AI LLC) and the data associated with it, what is deleted, what is kept, and for how long.
You can delete your account at any time, directly within the app:
Diagnostic results and assigned motorcycle records generally do not have individual delete controls. Archiving a motorcycle hides it from active views; it does not erase its records or free its spot. Unassigned intake and estimate drafts have separate deletion controls. These interface limits do not remove statutory privacy rights. Email support to request deletion or correction of a particular record.
If you can no longer access the app, email us from the address on your account and we will process the deletion for you:
Email: support@vtwindiagnostics.com — subject line “Delete my account”.
Completing the in-app process closes the server account, retires its active garage profiles and attempts to remove the sign-in account and local app data on that device. Closure is not immediate erasure of retained server records. If any step fails or you cannot sign in, email support to complete your request.
Copies on other devices, downloaded or printed reports, and independent backups are not remotely erased by closing the account. Export records you need before requesting deletion. Closing the account ends your ability to use its profile benefits, credits and reports through that account; it does not transfer an assigned credit to another account or motorcycle. Do not send your password or full payment-card details to support.
The existing account-closure policy provides a three-year retention period for account identifiers, motorcycle profiles, diagnostics and associated server records for safety, liability and recordkeeping, followed by deletion. Server records can include schedules, saved inspections, intake forms and estimates; locally entered service history and motorcycle-profile notes are stored separately on your device. This period does not override an applicable right to earlier erasure or a specific legal retention obligation. See the Privacy Policy or contact support for a data-specific request.
Cancel subscriptions separately. Closing your V-Twin account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a Home Mechanic or Professional Shop License. Use Apple's subscription controls or Google Play's subscription controls. Diagnostic Credits and additional parking spots are one-time purchases. Deletion does not automatically request a refund or undo entitlement activation. You can still pursue any refund or other remedy available under store rules and applicable law.
Apple and Google hold their own payment records; we do not store your card details. We and RevenueCat process transaction and entitlement records. Store records and any legally required retention are governed by the applicable provider and legal requirements.
